Creator Kazurō Kyō revealed via X (formerly Twitter) that the manga adaptation of the strategy RPG Fire Emblem Engage is nearing its climax. Kyō began serialization for the manga in Shueisha's Saikyō Jump magazine and on the Shonen Jump+ website and app in May 2023.
The seventh collected volume of the manga was released on May 1. The Fire Emblem Engage video game itself launched for the Nintendo Switch in January 2023, tasking players as the Divine Dragon to gather Emblem Rings and restore peace to the Continent of Elyos in a war against the Fell Dragon.
This news follows recent announcements for the broader franchise, including the mobile game Fire Emblem Shadows and the upcoming 2026 title Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave for the Nintendo Switch 2.
