Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has launched its latest downloadable content character, Wolfgang Krauser, alongside a brand-new animated trailer. The video, which highlights the iconic villain, was directed, story-boarded, and creatively produced by Masami Ōbari, known for his work on previous Fatal Fury anime adaptations.

Krauser's release on Friday coincides with the game's first anniversary. He joins a growing roster that includes previously released Season Pass 2 characters Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, and Blue Mary. Fans can anticipate Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star arriving in June as the final character for Season Pass 2.

The fighting game, which debuted in April 2025 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, features a robust roster of returning and new fighters. Its Season Pass 1 included crossover characters Ken and Chun-Li from Street Fighter. The game represents the first new installment in the Fatal Fury franchise in over two decades, with its origins tracing back to the 1991 arcade release of Fatal Fury: King of Fighters.
