Coco Uzuki's romantic comedy manga, Fall in Love, You False Angels, is set to receive a television anime adaptation in 2027. The announcement was made via a newly launched official X/Twitter account for the series.
The manga, which debuted in Kodansha's Dessert magazine in April 2023, follows the story of Otogi Katsura, a seemingly perfect class president with a brash hidden side, and her quiet vice president, Toki Ninomae. Their shared secrets and hidden personalities draw them closer, forming a unique bond.
Fall in Love, You False Angels has garnered critical acclaim, winning the Kodansha Manga Awards in 2025 and receiving a nomination for the Shogakukan Manga Awards in the same year. It also ranked on Kono Manga ga Sugoi!'s top 20 list for female readers multiple times.
Kodansha USA Publishing handles the English release of the manga, describing its premise as a tale of two seemingly opposite high school students who find themselves drawn together by their concealed natures.
