Titan Manga has confirmed the acquisition of LastBoss LoveDeath, an inventive take on the magical girl genre that blends high-stakes superhero action with the competitive idol industry. The series is scheduled for a wide release on April 6, 2027, with pre-orders already available through major retailers including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Forbidden Planet.
The narrative centers on FÅ«ka Nagisa, Julie YÅ«ki, and Kanon Amamiya, three ordinary high school students who find themselves thrust into a global conflict after gaining mysterious powers. Their attempt to act as heroes is cut short when they are captured by a sinister organization. Rather than facing destruction, the trio is forced into a new role: becoming the organization's latest idol group.
Created by writer Yoshikazu Kuwajima and artist Takahiro Seguchi, the series promises a mix of spectacle and dark humor as the protagonists balance their public lives as idols with the dangerous schemes of their captors.
