The gag comedy Everyday Host anime is slated for a January 2027 premiere, its staff announced Tuesday. Alongside the sequel confirmation, a new visual drawn by the series' writer and director, Rarecho, was revealed.
The Everyday Host franchise is also expanding to the stage with a musical adaptation titled HAPPEY MUSICAL Everyday Host, scheduled to open in November. Norihito Nakayashiki will direct and write the screenplay for the musical.
The series follows Sekiguchi, an ex-businessman who becomes a host at "Club One" after falling ill. He joins a colorful cast of co-workers, including a seemingly young host with decades of experience, a former idol, and a gamer host. The first anime season, which aired in April 2025 for two cours, featured a voice cast including Hiro Shimono, Taku Yashiro, and Tasuku Hatanaka. Rarecho directed the first season at Fanworks studio.
Nimo Gotล's original four-panel manga launched online in July 2020, with its latest compiled volumes published digitally in December 2024.
