The upcoming television anime adaptation of Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! (Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!) is officially heading to screens this fall. A newly released main promotional video confirms an October 3 premiere date and offers a first listen to the opening theme song, "Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkya Inai," performed by Sangatsu no Phantasia.

Naoyuki Tatsuwa, known for his work on Nisekoi - False Love and Ōmuro-ke, is directing the series at studio Passione. The production staff also includes character designer Ryo Imamura and series composer Masahiro Yokotani, who recently garnered attention for his work on Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!. The cast features Shōgo Sakata as the reluctant council member Mizunoe Ume, alongside Haruka Shiraishi, Miyu Tomita, Hiyori Kōno, Shizuka Ishigami, and Yumi Uchiyama.

Based on Muchimaro’s popular four-panel manga, which won the print category at the ninth Next Manga Awards in 2023, the story follows Ume’s chaotic tenure in a student council populated by an endearingly bizarre group of peers. With the manga currently serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine and localized by Seven Seas, the anime aims to capture the series' signature blend of slice-of-life humor and quirky character dynamics when it begins airing across Tokyo MX, BS11, and other networks this October.
