The production team for the upcoming anime adaptation of Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! (Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!) has unveiled a new character promotional video and visual for Tan Otori, confirming that voice actress Hiyori Kono will step into the role. Kono joins a growing ensemble cast that includes Shogo Sakata as Mizunoe Ume, Haruka Shiraishi as Hisako Kotobuki, and Miyu Tomita as Komaro Michinoku.

Set for an October debut, the series is being produced by studio Passione. The project is helmed by director Naoyuki Tatsuwa, known for his work on Nisekoi - False Love and Ōmuro-ke. The script and series composition are being overseen by Masahiro Yokotani, whose credits include Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- and Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!, while Ryo Imamura is tasked with character design.

Based on the four-panel manga by Muchimaro, the story follows Mizunoe Ume, a student who joins the council in a desperate bid to boost his academic standing, only to find himself surrounded by a group of eccentric and chaotic peers. Since its 2022 debut in Weekly Shōnen Magazine, the series has gained significant traction, winning the print category at the 2023 Next Manga Awards. With a 7.19 rating on MyAnimeList, the series is poised to translate its quirky, slice-of-life charm to the screen this fall.
