Fans of the Saiyuki franchise have a new installment to look forward to, as a sequel to Saiyuki Reload has been revealed. This latest anime project continues the journey of the iconic Sanzo Ikkou – Priest Genjo Sanzo, Cho Hakkai, Sha Gojyo, and Son Goku – as they press onward to prevent the demon Gyoumao's resurrection, battling demonic forces and internal strife. The original Saiyuki manga by Kazuya Minekura launched in 1997, spawning numerous anime adaptations. Saiyuki Reload itself adapted the manga's later arcs and received its own anime series in 2006. This new sequel will likely build upon the events and character dynamics established in Saiyuki Reload: Zeroin, offering a fresh chapter for the beloved quartet.
