Fans of Kosuke Fujishima's iconic "Ah! My Goddess" franchise have a new reason to celebrate. A spin-off titled "Oh! My Goddess: The Adventures of Mini-Goddess" has been revealed, offering a comedic, bite-sized look at the lives of the goddesses.
This new series, originally airing in 1998 and produced by OLM, features the main goddesses from "Ah! My Goddess" in a series of shorts. It leans heavily into parody and humor, showcasing the goddesses interacting with their friend Gan the rat, often in chibi form. While not a direct continuation of the main narrative, it expands the universe with a lighthearted, gag-driven focus.
"The Adventures of Mini-Goddess" provides a distinct comedic counterpoint to the romantic comedy and supernatural elements of the original manga and anime, offering a different flavor for long-time followers of Belldandy and her sisters.
