Fans of the over-the-top dark fantasy action of Bastard!! Ankoku no Hakaishin can now experience a fuller adaptation of the beloved manga. AIC has produced a six-episode OVA series that adapts portions of Kazushi Hagiwara's notoriously long-running manga, filling in the gaps left by the original 1990s OVA.
This new release brings the total OVA count to six, completing the originally planned eight episodes that were never fully realized. The series dives deep into the world of the powerful dark wizard Dark Schneider, exploring themes of magic, reincarnation, and intense, often bloody, battles. It's a direct adaptation, offering more of the same ecchi-laden fantasy that fans have come to expect from the franchise.
