Bandai Namco Filmworks has unveiled a second teaser for Yamato yo Towa ni: Rebel 3199, the latest installment in the ongoing Space Battleship Yamato remake project. The new teaser offers a glimpse of the titular ship departing from the moon's surface. The sixth film in the series, titled Aoi Meikyū (Blue Labyrinth), is slated for release on June 26.

The narrative of Rebel 3199 will see the Yamato crew navigate a space-time anomaly that transports them to the year 2026. This latest film follows a series of theatrical releases, with the fifth film having opened in Japan on February 20. The entire project is planned as a seven-film theatrical event.

Internationally, the anime is available on Crunchyroll under the title Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 3199. The production is helmed by director Naomichi Yamato, with Harutoshi Fukui returning as supervising director, head writer, and scriptwriter. Nobuteru Yūki is back as character designer, and Akira Miyagawa is composing the music.
