The e-bookstore emaqi, operated by the AI localization firm Orange Inc., is significantly expanding its digital catalog. The platform recently integrated 18 titles from Viz Media into its emaqi Premium subscription service, providing subscribers immediate access to major industry staples including Komi Can't Communicate, Ranma 1/2, Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, and Fly Me to the Moon.

Alongside this influx of licensed content, the service is introducing seven exclusive manga titles throughout the month. Six of these additions are restricted to the Premium subscription tier, serving as a key incentive for the platform's monthly users.

Leading the charge for the exclusive lineup is the first volume of Ironfist Chinmi by Takeshi Maekawa, scheduled to arrive on August 21. The classic martial arts series follows the journey of a young, ambitious kung fu practitioner from Sichuan Province as he trains at the Dalin Temple to fulfill his destiny as the 'Chosen One.' This expansion marks a strategic shift for the platform as it seeks to balance high-profile library acquisitions with unique, platform-specific offerings.
