The second part of the comedy anime Elegy for the Henchmen: Fist of the North Star is set to debut on July 6, with its official website unveiling a new promotional video, main visual, and theme songs. The anime, which focuses on the daily struggles of low-level grunts in Ken-Oh's army following a nuclear apocalypse, will air on AT-X and Tokyo MX.
The newly released trailer showcases the series' premise, a darkly humorous take on workplace survival where deaths are common. The Candellz will perform the new opening theme, "I'm a Loser." Meanwhile, the unit Itsuka▶ returns to handle the ending theme, "Shiroi Chō ga Tondara," featuring Dr. Washington and guitarist Tsuyoshi Ujiki.
Directed by Takuma Hase and Yūma Saitō at Do-Raku, the anime features Hiro Shimono as Nobu, the protagonist grunt. Shinnosuke Ogami, Masaaki Yano, and Shinya Takahashi round out the main cast. The first part of the anime premiered in January, and the original manga by Hiroshi Kurao concluded in 2020.
