The television anime adaptation of the super power action webtoon Eleceed has officially revealed its main voice cast and shared its first promotional video. The series is slated to debut in 2027.
Leading the cast is Junya Enoki as the protagonist Yu Kazahaya, joined by Tasuku Hatanaka as Jin Tatsuoka, Setsuji Sato as Dr. Delein, Hayato Doujima as Sota Yanagi, and Shizuka Itou as Amane Yanagi. The production boasts a notable staff, with Hiroshi Nishikiori directing at DandeLion Animation Studio. Yousuke Kuroda is on board for series composition and scripting, while Minami Sakura handles character design and chief animation direction. The music will be composed by Taku Iwasaki.
The first promotional video offers a glimpse into the world of Eleceed, showcasing the characters and action that fans of the original webtoon have come to expect. The webtoon, created by Jae-Ho Son and ZHENA, began its serialization on Naver Webtoon in October 2018 and has since gained a significant following.
In addition to the anime news, Penguin Random House has announced plans for a physical English release of the manga through its Inklore imprint, with the first volume scheduled for January 19, 2027. This coincides with the anime's planned premiere window.
