Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation is returning to screens this December with its second season, Episode of Savanaclaw. The announcement arrived on July 27 to coincide with the birthday of the Savanaclaw Dorm head, Leona Kingscholar, with Disney+ Japan providing the first look at the upcoming chapter via a new teaser visual.
This new installment follows the eight-episode debut, Episode of Heartslabyul, which premiered in October 2025. The series, which is slated for a three-season run, adapts the manga version of the hit Aniplex and Walt Disney Japan mobile game. The narrative follows Yūken Enma, a high school student transported to the magical Night Raven College, as he navigates a prestigious academy filled with enigmatic students.
Production remains in the hands of studios Yumeta Company and Graphinica, with Takahiro Natori serving as chief director and series script supervisor, and Shin Katagai directing. The project maintains its connection to the source material by bringing back composer Takumi Ozawa to handle the score.
Beyond the screen, the franchise has seen extensive expansion across multiple media formats, including a 4-koma manga, novelizations, and the primary manga adaptation that forms the basis for this ONA series. While the first season saw a simultaneous English dub release on Disney+ and Hulu, international audiences can expect similar streaming availability for this sophomore season.
