Disney+ has officially confirmed the cast for its live-action adaptation of A Man's Man, the popular corporate drama based on the web novel by Lucas and the subsequent webtoon by illustrator Dogago. The production will be helmed by director Hee-won Kim, known for her recent work on the Disney+ series Light Shop.
Jeong-min Park leads the project as Yoo-hyun Han, an office worker who experiences a life-altering second chance. The narrative follows Han as he attempts to rewrite his history after being transported back to his younger years, right in the middle of a job interview, following a previous life where he rose to CEO status only to lose everything. Supporting him are Sung-woo Bae, Ji-hyun Kim, Moon-sung Jung, Sang-hoon Moon, and Min Kim as his product planning team, with additional performances by Jung-eun Lee, Dae-myung Kim, and Sang-yi Lee. The production also includes special appearances by Seol-hyun Kim and Kwang-soo Lee.
The series draws from a massive source material, which has garnered over 470 million views worldwide. The webtoon originally gained significant traction on Naver Webtoon and found particular success in the Japanese market, where it topped the human drama charts on LINE Manga. While the original web novel remains untranslated in English, the webtoon version is currently available to international readers via the WEBTOON platform.
