Discotek Media has announced a slate of new Blu-ray releases, including the fan-favorite Digimon Tamers (also known as Digimon Season 3). This release will feature an HD upscale of the English-dubbed version, following the company's previous high-definition transfers of other Digimon series. A subtitled version of Digimon Tamers is planned for release at a later date.
Alongside the return of the digital monster adventure, Discotek is also bringing the popular shojo romance Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) to Blu-ray. The announcement also includes upcoming Blu-ray editions for the live-action film Journey to Japan: The Kyoto Connection and the tokusatsu series Kamen Rider: Skyrider.
