Discotek Media has unveiled its latest wave of home video releases, with several high-profile titles slated for a November Blu-ray debut. The announcement highlights the inclusion of the third and fourth installments of the long-running franchise, Digimon Tamers and Digimon Frontier, both presented in their original Japanese versions. Fans of the iconic thief will also see Lupin the IIIrd: Zenigata and the Two Lupins join the catalog, alongside classic and cult-favorite series including Patlabor, Pani Poni Dash!, Argento Soma, and Ultraforce.
In tandem with these new releases, MediaOCD has announced the final batch of titles for its "Discotek Deep Dives" initiative. This program, which began in January, was designed to make Discotek’s extensive back catalog more accessible by rotating hard-to-find titles into the store monthly. The closing wave of this initiative features a diverse selection, ranging from the complete series of Blue Seed, Saint Tail, and Thermae Romae to the full Project A-ko collection and a special steelbook edition of Cyber City Oedo 808.
While these releases bolster the availability of classic anime, the "Deep Dives" initiative has now officially concluded its run. With the final list of titles confirmed, collectors now have a clear view of the remaining inventory being prioritized for this distribution model. Which of these newly announced Blu-ray additions are you most looking forward to adding to your physical library?
