Yamaguchi posted the artwork on his X (formerly Twitter) account, expressing his excitement and congratulations for the film's success. He noted the movie's strong start and his own eagerness to see it. The film's opening day alone raked in over 1.13 billion yen (approximately US$7.1 million).
Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway, the 29th installment in the long-running franchise, achieved a new franchise record during its debut weekend. It claimed the number one spot at the box office, drawing in 2,318,009 attendees and earning a total of 3,502,137,800 yen (about US$21.9 million) from Friday to Sunday. Both the ticket sales and earnings figures for the opening weekend surpassed all previous franchise records.
