The television anime adaptation of Kyousuke Motomi's Dengeki Daisy manga will premiere in 2027, with the main cast revealed at Crunchyroll's Anime Expo panel. Yoshino Aoyama, known for her role in Bocchi the Rock!, will voice Teru Kurebayashi, while Taku Yashiro, who starred in Domestic na Kanojo, takes on the role of Tasuku Kurosaki.
The shoujo romance comedy, originally serialized in Betsucomi from 2007 to 2013, is being brought to life by Studio Deen. Souta Ueno is directing, with series composition by Sawako Hirabayashi. Character designs are by Ayaka Murakami, and Masaru Yokoyama is handling the music.
A teaser promotional video was also unveiled during the announcement, offering the first glimpse of the animated series. VIZ Media previously licensed the manga in English, releasing the final volume in April 2015.
