Sega has announced that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will receive its sixth paid DLC character, the Infinity Castle version of Shinobu Kocho, on April 17. This addition is part of the 'Infinity Castle Part 1 Character Pass' for the sequel game.
The pass grants access to characters from the recent film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle – Part 1: Akaza Returns, for use in the game's VS. Mode. Previously released DLC characters include Doma, Kaigaku, and Infinity Castle versions of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Giyu, Shinobu, and Akaza. Doma remains the only character from this pass yet to launch.
The game's base roster boasts over 40 playable characters, including all nine Hashira and returning fighters from the original Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles. The story mode spans the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc. Developed by Cyber Connect 2 and published by Aniplex, The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
