The demon Doma is set to become the final playable character added to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles 2 via the "Infinity Castle Part 1 Character Pass." Aniplex confirmed the character's May 28 release in a new trailer. Doma joins Kaigaku as the latest additions to the game's roster through this paid DLC.
The "Infinity Castle Part 1 Character Pass" also includes Infinity Castle versions of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Giyu, Shinobu, and Akaza, all of whom have been released throughout the year. Prior to these paid additions, a free update in September added Muzan Kibutsuji to the game's VS. Mode.
Developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Aniplex, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles 2 expands on its predecessor with a story mode encompassing the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc. The game boasts over 40 playable characters in its VS. Mode, including all characters from the original 2021 title.
The game is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Various editions, including a Digital Deluxe Edition with character unlock keys and cosmetic items, are also available.
