The production team behind Dara-san of Reiwa (Reiwa no Dara-san) has released a non-credit version of the special ending sequence featured in the anime’s sixth episode. The sequence highlights the track "Gun Valsey's Theme," performed by veteran vocalist Masaaki Endoh, providing a distinct musical shift from the series' standard ending theme, "Hinatabocchi," by REIRIE.

Currently airing as part of the Summer 2024 season, the adaptation of Haruomi Tomotsuka’s manga premiered on July 2 with two distinct broadcast versions: the "Reiwa no Jidai ni Daijōbu nano!?" version on AT-X and a regular broadcast version across Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and Kansai TV. The series is directed by Tadato Suzuki, known for his work on Gushing Over Magical Girls, with character designs handled by Koichi Kikuta.

The series follows the unlikely bond between two siblings who wander into a dangerous, supernatural forest and encounter the titular Dara-san, a self-proclaimed god of misfortune with a terrifying appearance. The anime features a notable cast, including Mutsumi Tamura as the titular lead, alongside Minami Tsuda, Aoi Koga, and Tomokazu Sugita.

Yen Press currently publishes the original manga in English, which began as a viral series on social media before being picked up for serialization by Kadokawa. With the eighth volume recently released in Japan, the anime continues to adapt the supernatural comedy that balances eerie atmosphere with character-driven humor.
