Crunchyroll has revealed the next lineup for its Crunchyroll Anime Nights theatrical program, bringing a selection of highly anticipated fall titles to screens across the U.S. and Canada on September 21. The event offers viewers a chance to catch early screenings of five distinct series before their respective streaming and broadcast debuts in October.
The featured titles include the return of the Black Clover anime, which is launching its second season, alongside the premiere of The Vermilion Mask. Rounding out the program are adaptations of the webtoon Overgeared, the suspense-filled Firefly Wedding, and the long-awaited adaptation of Toshiaki Iwashiro's PSYREN manga. All screenings will be presented in their original Japanese audio with English subtitles.
This event follows the program's August screening of the webtoon-based film Your Letter. While these screenings provide an early look at the upcoming season, the broader fall schedule is already filling up: Firefly Wedding is confirmed for a prime spot on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block starting October 9, while Overgeared begins its run on October 2. The return of Black Clover is particularly notable, as the series has been off the air since the conclusion of its 170-episode run in March 2021.
