Crunchyroll has announced a slate of new anime acquisitions set to stream internationally, including five brand-new series and a highly anticipated sequel. The streaming giant revealed these titles during its industry panel at CCXP Mexico.
Among the new acquisitions are Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life, Reborn as a Space Mercenary: I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship!, and Rich Girl Caretaker: I'm Secretly the Caregiver of the Most Popular Girl in This Rich Kid School. These series are slated for July and October releases, respectively, with Crunchyroll securing rights across North America, Europe, and other global territories. Pony Canyon confirmed worldwide streaming for Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life.
Additionally, Crunchyroll will stream the second season of Skeleton Knight in Another World, set to premiere in July. The streaming service also acquired Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You, which will have an advance Japanese stream in June before its July broadcast premiere. The second season of The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat is also on the way, with a 2027 debut planned.
In parallel, Crunchyroll unveiled the English dub cast and confirmed an April 26 premiere for the second season of Wistoria: Wand and Sword.
