During the AnimagiC convention in Germany, Crunchyroll unveiled a significant slate of acquisitions, headlined by the long-awaited adaptation of the popular webtoon Eleceed. Originally scheduled for a 2026 release, the series is now set to arrive in early 2027, with global streaming rights excluding Japan and China.

The fall season will see a surge of new content on the platform, starting with FX Fighter Kurumi-chan, which premieres in October. Joining it in the October lineup are The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World II, The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life, and the quirky slice-of-life comedy Uncle’s Obsession with Cute Things, which hits the service on October 4.

Looking ahead to the winter, the platform confirmed that Shangri-La Frontier will return for its third season in January 2027. This follows the massive success of the previous seasons, which have maintained high engagement across platforms as one of the most prominent action-adventure series currently in production.

Most of these titles, including the sequel series and the upcoming October premieres, will be available to viewers across North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East, with varying availability in CIS and India depending on the specific license.
