Cosmic Princess Kaguya!, the novelization of Shingo Yamashita's anime film, has claimed the top spot on Oricon's monthly light novel sales ranking for June 2026. The novel, penned by Naruto Kiriyama with illustrations by Asao Urata, recorded 15,049 estimated print sales during the June 1 to June 28 tracking period. This latest success brings the novel's cumulative sales to an estimated 186,219 copies since its January 30 release.
The Cosmic Princess Kaguya! film itself saw a limited theatrical run in Japan from February 20 to June 18, and began streaming on Netflix on January 22.
Following in second place was the fourth volume of Classroom of the Elite: Year 3, written by Syougo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose. This entry sold 14,208 copies in June, adding to its total of 72,450 copies. The anime adaptation of Classroom of the Elite is currently airing its fourth season, which covers the Year 2 light novels, and has already been renewed for a fifth season.
Debuting at number three is DON'T BLEACH MY FIST Vol. 1, a novel adaptation based on Tite Kubo's Bleach manga, written by Ryohgo Narita. This novel shipped on June 4 and recorded 13,445 sales for the month. Narita is a returning author to the Bleach franchise, having previously penned the Bleach: Spirits Are Forever With You and Bleach: Can’t Fear Your Own World novel series.
