The interactive adaptation of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint will arrive later than planned. According to an earnings presentation for the second quarter of 2026, publisher Com2uS has updated its internal schedule, moving the title’s release window from 2027 to 2028. The company provided no specific justification for the schedule shift.

Being developed by the team at Offbeat, the project is slated for PC and console platforms with a global launch strategy that excludes China. Com2uS first acquired the publishing rights for the property in March 2025, betting on the continued momentum of the source material. This latest update represents a significant timeline adjustment for the project, which was originally positioned for a 2027 debut.

The same earnings materials also mentioned a 2028 window for the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint anime adaptation. However, this information has not been corroborated by major distributors or the core production committee. Until further details emerge from the animation partners, the anime's production status remains unconfirmed, leaving the 2028 game release as the only primary development update for the franchise.
