The mobile and PC action RPG Code Geass: Lost Stories is set to conclude its service on December 7. The announcement, shared via the game's official website and social media channels, confirms that all sales for in-game currency, including Sakuradite, the Lost Stories Pass, and various starter packs, were halted as of Wednesday.
Developed by f4samurai, the title originally launched in May 2022 for smartphones and PC via DMM Game Player. Its path to release was notably turbulent, having been initially announced in 2018 before undergoing a complete development restart in 2021. The game featured an original theme song, "Pendulum," performed by the rock band FLOW. While the Japanese version remained active longer, the English-language iteration of the game previously ended its run in August 2024.
This closure arrives as the Code Geass franchise marks its 20th anniversary. While Lost Stories is exiting the market, the franchise continues to expand through other mediums, including the upcoming anime project Code Geass: Hoshi Oi no Aspal, as well as new stage productions and commemorative exhibitions. Additionally, the franchise recently saw the release of the "survivor action" title Code Geass Knightmare Survivor in September 2026.
Why it matters: The end of Lost Stories shifts the franchise's digital footprint toward newer titles like Knightmare Survivor, though it remains to be seen if the narrative content exclusive to the Lost Stories platform will be archived or preserved for fans.
