Shin Kidō Senki Gundam W x Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Minuet Zero has launched on Kadokawa's KadoComi digital platform. The series is illustrated by Tomofumi Ogasawara, who brings significant experience to the project, having previously worked on both Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz: Glory of the Losers and the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection manga.
The crossover features a script penned by Kōjirō Taniguchi of Sunrise, ensuring the project aligns with the core identity of both series. This collaboration was initially unveiled as part of a larger slate of anniversary initiatives, specifically falling under the "Code Geass Project 'To 20th'" celebration.
This manga release arrives during a busy period for both franchises. While Code Geass continues its 20th-anniversary momentum—which includes the television broadcast of Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture—the Gundam Wing franchise remains a focus for Bandai Namco Filmworks. Following its 30th-anniversary milestone last year and a recent 4K theatrical run of Endless Waltz in the United States, the brand is currently developing a new visual project, keeping the series firmly in the spotlight for long-time mecha enthusiasts.
