Grotesqqque, the original omnibus anime film from CloverWorks, has set a November 6 release date in Japan. The studio unveiled the news during its Anime Expo panel, alongside a trailer that offers a glimpse at the film's distinct segments and its opening theme song, "Shoot Shoot Shoot" by METALVERSE.

The film will present three unique stories: "Aeliens," "4649 Girl" (pronounced "Yoroshiku★Shōjo"), and "Nocturne: Kono Grotesque na Yoru ni" (Nocturne: On This Grotesque Night). The cast announced for the film includes Kana Ichinose and Gen Hoshino for "Aeliens," while "4649 Girl" features Chika Anzai, Maaya Uchida, Rie Kugimiya, and Miyu Tomita, among others. The "Nocturne" segment will include voices from Nagi Inoue and Nao Tomisato, both members of the idol group Nogizaka46.

Directed and written by Atsushi Nishigori, known for his work on The IDOLM@STER and DARLING in the FRANXX, Grotesqqque is produced by JOEN, a joint venture between Aniplex, CloverWorks, Wit Studio, and Shueisha. The film will also receive its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal from July 16 to August 2.
