The festival kicks off on September 18 with a 7:00 p.m. showing of the surrealist classic Adolescence of Utena. The following two days offer a dense schedule of screenings, beginning on September 19 with Mamoru Hosoda's The Girl Who Leapt Through Time at 12:00 p.m., followed by the newer titles ChaO at 2:00 p.m. and The Last Blossom at 4:00 p.m.
Rounding out the event on September 20, the museum will screen Makoto Shinkai's Children Who Chase Lost Voices at 11:30 a.m., concluding with the drama cocoon – One Summer of Girlhood at 2:00 p.m. These screenings offer a rare opportunity for local audiences to view these titles in a theatrical setting, bridging the gap between historical genre staples and recent independent productions.
