Manga creator Chanta has returned to the Shonen Jump+ platform with the launch of a new series, Noro-Noro Puku-Puku. The title debuted on Monday and is currently available for international readers through Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service.

The story centers on Suzu, a shrine maiden who finds herself under a divine curse. To break the hex, she must exorcise 108 individual curses, aided by Puku, a black cat that has taken up residence on her head. The series is framed as an absurdist exorcist comedy, marking a distinct shift in tone for the author.

This project follows the conclusion of Chanta’s previous work, Sachi's Records: Sachi's Book of Revelation, which ran on Shonen Jump+ from July 2023 until April 2025. That series spanned five compiled volumes, with the final installment released in July 2025. Like its predecessor, Noro-Noro Puku-Puku is being distributed digitally in English simultaneously with its Japanese release.
