Konami has pulled back the curtain on Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, confirming the English voice talent for the upcoming installment. The trailer highlights a mix of franchise veterans and new additions, with Abby Trott taking the lead role of Rose Belmont alongside J.B. Blanc as Trevor Belmont. Fans of the acclaimed animated series will recognize Alejandra Reynoso, who returns as Sypha Belnades, and Graham McTavish, who reprises his iconic turn as Dracula.
The cast list also includes Ray Chase as The Fallen, Erica Lindbeck as Joan of Arc, Melique Berger as Medusa, Liam O'Brien returning as Isaac, Dawn M. Bennett as Carmilla, and Aaron LaPlante as Death. This new entry is being spearheaded by Evil Empire, with advisory support from Motion Twin, the creative forces behind the hit roguelike Dead Cells.
Set two decades after the events of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, the narrative shifts to 15th-century Paris. Players will step into the shoes of Trevor Belmont’s successor, wielding the legendary Vampire Killer whip to purge the city of encroaching darkness. The gameplay promises a return to form for the series, emphasizing exploration and strategic use of spells and weaponry within a sprawling, sinister castle.
This release represents a major milestone for the brand, serving as the first entirely new game in the franchise since 2014. It follows a recent wave of activity for the series, including the 2024 Castlevania Dominus Collection and the ongoing expansion of the animated universe through Castlevania: Nocturne. Players can jump into the action when the game arrives on October 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
