Bushiroad's Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise has expanded its media presence with a new manga series, Cardfight!! Vanguard Full Fighters. The manga officially began its serialization in the May issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Coro Coro Comics, which went on sale on April 10.

Makoto Daienbō, known for their work on Cardfight!! Vanguard Skyride, is handling the art for the new series. Cardfight!! Vanguard Full Fighters centers on two protagonists, Asahi Hyūga and Yoru Getsudō. Both characters are new to the titular card game, with Asahi being an outgoing player who struggles with academics, and Yoru a more solitary, strategic gamer.

This manga launch follows the recent conclusion of Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Genma Seisen-hen, the 10th season of the franchise's D Series anime, which aired its final episode on April 11. The Cardfight!! Vanguard universe is also preparing for the theatrical release of Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Unmei Seisen-hen in Japan on October 2, and a brand new television anime is slated for 2027 to commemorate the franchise's 15th anniversary.
