Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! 2, the second season of the comedy anime based on Kanaineko's spinoff manga, will premiere in Japan on July 2. A new main promotional video released today offers a preview of the ending theme song, titled "Bokura ~Akutagawa Ryūnosuke Ver." and performed by Kenshō Ono as Ryūnosuke Akutagawa.

The series is set to air on Tokyo MX 1 and the d Anime Store at 9:40 p.m. JST, with additional broadcasts on KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS11, and WOWOW. Crunchyroll will stream the anime for audiences in North America, Europe, and other global regions.

The Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! anime adapts Kanaineko's gag manga, which focuses on the mini-sized, peaceful everyday lives of characters from the main Bungo Stray Dogs franchise. Yen Press publishes the manga in English and describes it as a cozy gag series about the cute adventures of Atsushi and his companions, offering a different charm from the original.

Returning cast members include Yūto Uemura as Atsushi Nakajima, Mamoru Miyano as Osamu Dazai, and Yoshimasa Hosoya as Doppo Kunikida, among others. The directing team features Toshihiro Kikuchi returning from the first season, with Yūdai Hanaoka as assistant director. Tōko Machida is handling series scripts, and Hiromi Daimi is designing the characters. Music for the series is composed by Taku Iwasaki.
