Kanata Yoshino, the creator behind the Bloody Brat manga, has launched a new series titled Yamai wa Ke kara -Shinri-shi Dōman no Sōdan-shitsu- (Illness Comes from the Supernatural -Psychologist Dōman's Counseling Room-). The horror mystery manga debuted on Kodansha's Comic Days website on March 22.

The story centers on Hayata Dōman, a rookie psychologist operating a consultation room in a back alley. Hayata possesses the ability to perceive non-human entities, such as shadows lurking behind his patients. The narrative explores whether these apparitions are mere psychological illusions or genuine supernatural forces preying on individuals.

Yoshino is recognized for their work on the Blood Lad manga, having penned the four-panel spinoff Buratto Buradora for Kadokawa's Altima Ace magazine from 2001 to 2012. A subsequent spinoff, BuraBuratto Buradora, ran in Kadokawa's 4-Koma Nano Ace and Young Ace magazines between 2012 and 2013. Yen Press brought both spinoffs to English-speaking audiences, publishing them under the title Bloody Brat in 2014.
