The production team for the upcoming Bless anime has expanded its cast roster, introducing three new voice actors to the project. Nobuhiko Okamoto (My Hero Academia) will voice Ginga Yoyogi, while Yoshino Aoyama (Bocchi the Rock!) and Momoka Terasawa (Too Many Losing Heroines!) join as Oroka and Shitataka Sumeragi, respectively. The announcement was accompanied by two character-focused promotional videos highlighting these new additions.
Set to air as part of Fuji TV’s prestigious NoitaminA programming block, the series is currently scheduled for a January 2027 debut. The adaptation is being helmed by director Shoutarou Kitamura at A-1 Pictures, with series composition managed by Kamiza Fukurou and character designs provided by Honoka Yokoyama. The project aims to translate Yukino Sonoyama’s fashion-centric drama, which began its run in Shounen Magazine Edge before moving to Shounen Sirius, to the screen.
While the anime is still in development, the source material has already established a footprint in the industry, ranking 11th in the print category of the 2023 Next Manga Awards. Kodansha USA currently manages the English release of the manga, with digital chapters available via the K Manga platform. With the staff and cast now taking shape, the primary question remains which additional supporting characters will be announced as the 2027 premiere window approaches.
