The television anime adaptation of Yukino Sonoyama's Bless is officially heading to Fuji TV's prestigious NoitaminA programming block in January 2027. The announcement, made during the Aniplex One Focus 2026 event, introduced the lead voice cast alongside a new teaser visual and character-focused promotional videos.
Tomohiro Ono, known for his work in Tomodachi Game, will voice Aia Udagawa, while Chiyuki Miura, who appeared in Shibou Yuugi de Meshi wo Kuu., is set to play Jun Sumisaki. The production is helmed by director Shoutarou Kitamura at A-1 Pictures, with assistant director Takayuki Kikuchi supporting the project. The creative team also includes series composer Kamiza Fukurou, character designer Honoka Yokoyama, and composer Ryo Yoshimata.
Originally serialized in Shounen Magazine Edge before moving to Shounen Sirius, the fashion-centric drama has garnered significant attention, including an 11th-place finish in the 2023 Next Manga Awards. Kodansha USA currently handles the English release, with digital chapters available via the K Manga platform.
Why it matters: The choice of the NoitaminA block for a 2027 debut suggests a high-profile push for this adaptation, though it remains to be seen how the series will balance its fashion-focused narrative against the block's history of experimental storytelling.
