Idea Factory International has announced that the physical edition of Birushana: Winds of Fate, a fan disc for the otome visual novel Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei, will launch for Nintendo Switch in Europe on June 26. The digital version is slated to arrive earlier in Europe on May 26, with both digital and physical releases for North America also scheduled for May 26.
The Standard Edition of the physical release will bundle a pack of nine trading cards, featuring each love interest, plus an additional card from the IFI online store. A premium Plus Edition will further include an art book, short stories, and a slipcase, alongside a reversible cover sleeve that reveals a mini poster.
Birushana: Winds of Fate expands on the original game's narrative, offering Shanao nine potential romance options. Five of these are returning characters from Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei, while four are new additions. The fan disc originally debuted in Japan in March 2022, following the Western release of the base game in June 2022.
