The audio and video post-production firm Salami Studios announced its closure this Monday, marking the end of a three-decade run in the entertainment industry. The studio, which became a staple for ADR and audio post-production, confirmed the news via its official social media channels.

Throughout its tenure, the studio contributed to a wide array of high-profile projects. In the anime space, their portfolio includes work on titles such as Monster, Kekkaishi, The Prince of Tennis, and Star Wars: Visions. More recently, the studio was involved in the production of the hit series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and is credited for work on the upcoming sequel, which is slated for a Netflix release on October 20.

Beyond anime, the company’s influence extended to major Western animation, with credits ranging from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Boondocks to SpongeBob SquarePants. The closure leaves a notable gap in the post-production sector, particularly for series that relied on their long-standing expertise in dialogue recording and sound design.
