Koei Tecmo has announced that it will terminate service for the mobile RPG Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator on November 25. The title, developed in collaboration with Gust and Akatsuki Games, will officially go offline at 4:00 p.m. JST, marking the end of its two-year run in the Japanese market.

This mobile entry, which featured story composition by Takahiro and character designs by Umiu Geso and tokki, followed the journey of the young alchemist Resna. While the Japanese mobile version remained active longer, the global release of the same mobile title concluded its service earlier this year in March 2025.

The franchise continues to evolve, however, with the recent release of Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian. Unlike its mobile predecessor, this newer title is a single-player, offline RPG that launched in September 2025 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. By shifting focus to a standalone experience, the series moves away from the live-service model that defined the Forgotten Alchemy chapter.

With the mobile servers preparing to close, which elements of the Resleriana story do you hope to see carried over or expanded upon in the newer offline console and PC titles?
