The production staff for Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san? confirmed a January 7 broadcast start. Viewers can watch the series during the "Super Animeism Turbo" time slot on MBS, TBS, and associated stations. The show follows high school student Kuroki, who discovers that his classmate Mai Chihara—a girl known for her gothic style and reputation for being a "landmine" or jirai-kei—is actually quite kind.
Synergy SP handles the animation production. The creative team includes series script supervisor Keiichirō Ōchi, character designer Majiro, and composer Arisa Okehazama. The voice cast features Sayumi Suzushiro, Kazuki Ura, Maaya Uchida, Tomokazu Sugita, and Daisuke Ono. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the source manga in English, which earned a 2024 Rakuten Kobo E-book Award.
