The upcoming original anime Aoki Denshou Welsh & Shedar has confirmed its broadcast schedule, with the series set to hit airwaves on October 2 at 9:25 p.m. via Tokyo MX. Alongside the premiere date, the production team released a main promotional video that offers a first look at the series and previews the opening theme song, "Bokura no Mirai e."

New cast members joining the project include Yuuko Kaida as Zabel, Makoto Furukawa as Joris, and Risa Kageyama as Bechamel. The musical production features a collaboration between Hironobu Kageyama and Masami Okui for the opening track, while Kageyama is also credited for the ending theme, "Omelet."

Directed by Naoki Horiuchi, the series is a collaborative effort between studios Ankama and Studio Dream Catcher. The production team also includes Tot, who is handling the series composition concept, and Kenichi Yamashita, who is managing the Japanese version's series composition. Character designs are being handled by Saori Nakashiki, with the musical score composed by Pierre-Jean Beaudoin and Jose Pavli.

Why it matters: The involvement of both Japanese and French studios suggests a unique visual or narrative approach for this original project. With the premiere date now locked, it remains to be seen how the international collaboration will influence the series' pacing and aesthetic compared to standard domestic productions.
