Ami Maeshima has been revealed as the latest addition to the cast of the Rich Girl Caretaker anime, where she will voice the character Karen Asahi. Maeshima will also lend her voice to the anime's ending theme song, titled "Kanpeki Janai Watashi" (Imperfect Me).

The anime adaptation of Yusaku Sakaishi and Sakura Miwabe's light novel series is set to premiere on July 4 late at night, technically airing on July 5, on TV Tokyo and BS Asahi. Crunchyroll has confirmed it will stream the series across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India.

Directed by Shūsei Morishita at Brains Base, the series script is overseen by Aya Yoshinaga, with character designs by Nao Kawashima and sound direction by Takeshi Takadera. The voice cast also includes Yūto Uemura as Itsuki Tomonari, Konomi Kohara as Hinako Konohana, Saori Ōnishi as Mirei Tennōji, Rio Tsuchiya as Narika Miyakojima, Ami Koshimizu as Shizune Tsurumi, and Takehito Koyasu as Kagen Konohana. The opening theme, "Sai Sai Saikōkyū no Osewa Shite," is performed by angela.

The story follows high school student Itsuki Tomonari, who becomes the caregiver for Hinako Konohana, the daughter of a powerful conglomerate. Despite her perfect facade at school, Hinako is actually lazy and unskilled, and Itsuki takes on the role of caring for her to protect her secret, leading to a developing relationship.
