North American viewers can now access the second and third seasons of Hyakusho Kizoku -the farmer's days- for free via the streaming platform Amasian TV. The service, operated by ODK Media, is offering the episodes on-demand with Japanese audio and English subtitles, requiring no subscription for access. This release is part of a broader partnership with Japan International Broadcasting.
Based on the autobiographical manga by Hiromu Arakawa, the series chronicles the seven years the creator spent working on a dairy farm in Hokkaido before her professional career began. These experiences served as a foundational influence for her later work, including the agricultural-themed series Silver Spoon. While the first season of the anime is currently hosted on RetroCrush, Amasian TV now serves as the home for the subsequent two seasons.
Production on the franchise continues to move forward, with a fourth season already confirmed to be in the works. The series is known for its short-form format, with the first season consisting of 12 episodes, each running approximately four minutes in length. As Amasian TV continues to build its anime library, which also includes Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, it remains to be seen when the platform will debut the upcoming fourth season.
