North American streaming service Amasian TV has expanded its library by adding 20 episodes of the popular Chiikawa anime. The episodes are available to watch on demand for free, requiring no subscription, and feature the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. This release is part of a broader collaboration between the platform and Japan International Broadcasting.

Based on the manga by Nagano, the series follows the daily lives of small, adorable creatures navigating a world that is often unexpectedly surreal. The anime first debuted in April 2022 as a segment on Fuji TV's Mezamashi Terebi before transitioning to a twice-weekly broadcast schedule. The voice cast is led by Haruka Aoki as Chiikawa, alongside Makoto Tanaka as Hachiware and Ari Ozawa as Usagi.

While the series is also available on HIDIVE via Sentai Filmworks, this move by Amasian TV offers a new, accessible entry point for viewers in the United States. Following the theatrical debut of Eiga Chiikawa: Ningyo no Shima no Himitsu in Japan this past July, the franchise continues to maintain high visibility.

Looking ahead, Amasian TV plans to further bolster its catalog by bringing the second and third seasons of Hyakushō Kizoku and the Gunma-chan anime to the platform in the coming months. These additions continue the service's recent expansion into broader anime offerings, following its acquisition of other titles like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood earlier this year.
