Asaki Yuikawa has joined the cast of the Always a Catch! television anime, taking on the role of Teodorico, the younger brother of protagonist Maria. Teodorico is slated to make his first appearance in episode 7, which is scheduled to broadcast on May 13.

The romantic comedy series, adapted from Mayo Momoyo's light novel, centers on Maria, a duke's daughter who honed her martial arts skills believing she would inherit her father's title. However, the arrival of a younger brother jeopardizes her inheritance, prompting Maria to seek marriage. Her journey takes an unexpected turn when she travels abroad and is mistakenly engaged to a foreign prince, who later becomes intrigued by her combat abilities.

The anime boasts a voice cast including Yū Serizawa as Maria Annovazzi and Atsushi Tamaru as Renato di Rubini. Saori Hayami voices Aida Amethis, with Shūichirō Umeda as Placido di Rubini. Taku Yashiro, Natsuki Hanae, Kaori Maeda, Rumi Ōkubo, Tetsu Inada, and Yūko Kaida also lend their voices to the production. The series is directed by Akira Oguro at TROYCA, featuring series scripts by Michiko Yokote and character designs by Isamu Suzuki.

Always a Catch! premiered on April 1 on Tokyo MX and BS 11. The opening theme song, "Chikai wa Kyun to," is performed by HoneyWorks feat. Airi Suzuki, while Yoshino sings the ending theme, "DEAD OR LOVE." The original light novel began as a web novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō before receiving a novel publication with illustrations by Mito, and a manga adaptation by Kaki Nagato launched in April 2022. The manga is available in English through Square Enix's Manga UP! Global, BookWalker Global Store, and Comikey.
