The upcoming anime adaptation of 'Kimi wo Aisuru Ki wa Nai' to Itta Jiki Koushaku-sama ga Nazeka Dekiai shitekimasu has expanded its cast. Kaito Ishikawa has been cast as Julius, the titular Crown Prince, while Yui Ishikawa will voice the character of Lilian. The series, slated for a Summer 2026 premiere, is being animated by studios Grass and Zero-G.
This fantasy romance follows Elsa, the daughter of a disgraced noble, who finds herself bewildered by a marriage proposal from the esteemed aristocrat Julius. Her confusion deepens after the wedding when Julius's demeanor shifts dramatically from his previously kind and gentle nature. The anime is adapted from the manga of the same name.
With the addition of these two prominent voice actors, anticipation is building for the series' debut. The production is helmed by producers Avex Pictures and Saber Links, promising a faithful adaptation of the popular manga source material.
