The upcoming television anime adaptation of Ikkou Tanaka's gambling thriller Junket Bank has expanded its voice cast, adding two prominent industry veterans to the production. Wataru Hatano, known for his work in Fate/strange Fake, will voice the character Keiichi Shishigami, while Daisuke Hirakawa, recognized for his role in Yuusha no Kuzu, has been tapped to play Reiji Murasame.
These casting updates arrive as the production team prepares for an October 2026 launch on TV Tokyo affiliates. The series is currently being helmed by director Seiji Kishi, whose previous credits include Assassination Classroom and Classroom of the Elite. The adaptation is being produced at Studio Cue, with series composition overseen by Makoto Fukami and character designs provided by Masanori Shino.
Based on Tanaka's long-running manga, which began serialization in Weekly Young Jump in 2020, the anime promises to bring the high-stakes world of the source material to the screen. With musical score duties assigned to Taku Iwasaki, the series aims to capture the tense atmosphere that has propelled the manga to its 22nd volume release this July.
